The Hero and the Detail

Hero shots:

The hero shot covers an overview of the edifice I have created. At this park, the Auto-Fabrica facade grew from the lake to above the greenery. At the same time, Off-white site also has the resemblance of the surrounding hot air balloon, soaring into the sky. I have chosen this as my hero shot because it captures space and time where the facade of both structures allow the warm afternoon light into the room while also have the air eased out with the colourful trees and the water body at the centre of the park. Furthermore, the hot air balloon reinforces the seamless curvatures of the entire edifice. And when we have space as this whole, time and geometry in coexistence at the heart of civilisation, it acts as a Genius Loci to this destination.

Detail shot:

The Detail shows a perspective view from the Off-White staircase to the infinity point which ends at the Auto-Fabrica inner space. The view manifests a collective, systematic arrangement and materials of both sites. Within this shot, we do not feel suffocated thanks to the mesh fenestration design facade, overhanging stairs case and colossal form enclosure. The contrast between complex yet light stairs design and mass stair result in an overall balance to a peculiar built of these spaces.
